CBI had conducted recce for 20 days to bust the bribery racket in Research Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO). During this period, after finding strong evidence of bribe transactions, the premises of three RDSO employees and firms were raided. During the raid, many important evidences of bribery were found by scanning the WhatsApp chats of the mobile phones of the three personnel. Now CBI officials are investigating the involvement of other officers and employees of the Accounts Department in this racket.
Let us tell you that on Tuesday, CBI had busted the racket of taking bribe of lakhs of rupees from the firms working in RDSO and passing their bills. After registering three cases, CBI also raided 5 places in the capital and 2 places in Noida. According to sources, CBI officials are currently present in Noida to examine the documents recovered from the premises of M/s ADJ Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Proprietor Manish Kumar Pandey and Puri Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Director Ashok Puri.
CBI officials are now also tracing the movable and immovable properties of the three personnel. Apart from this, complete details of the bank accounts of Abdul Latif’s brother Abdul Karim Siddiqui are also being collected, so that it can be found out which people had earlier sent bribe money to his account. Clues of transactions between Arpit Asthana, Abdul Latif and Nasir Hussain are also being searched.
